Good to know
Big and grassy with room to run, but no dog-swim pond — the regional park’s fishing ponds are not a designated dog-swim area, so don’t count on water play; bring a bowl.
Gulf Coast heat/humidity: lots of open space with limited shade; the seasonal early-close (7 PM Nov–Feb, 9 PM Mar–Oct) tracks daylight, so plan around it.
Dogs must be leashed entering and leaving; fully fenced for safety once inside.
