Congressman Bill Archer Bark Park
A sprawling 17-acre off-leash park run by Harris County Precinct 4, with a mile of internal trails, agility courses, shade pavilions and a swim pond in each section. One of the largest fenced dog parks in the Houston area.
Each fenced section has a pond dogs swim in, plus two dog showers to rinse off — wash your dog after, as pond water is untreated and can carry algae or bacteria in summer heat.
Gulf Coast heat/humidity: the wide-open acreage has limited shade between pavilions; go early or late and carry water.
Operated by Precinct 4 (older listings calling it "Precinct 3" are outdated); leashed entering/exiting, off-leash under voice control inside. Closed Thanksgiving, Dec 24–25, Jan 1.
