Eagle Creek Gordon Gilmer Bark Park
A large, fully fenced off-leash zone inside Eagle Creek Park, one of Indiana's biggest parks. Grass-covered with separate large- and small-dog areas, agility obstacles, a shelter, benches and waste stations.
Eagle Creek Park (a $5/vehicle gate fee applies to enter the park).
Good to know
Requires an Indy Parks Pooch Pass (citywide schedule: $75/$55/$40 annual, $5 daily, $125 VIP); buy it at the Eagle Creek Park office, 7840 W 56th St.
Despite the huge reservoir, dogs may NOT swim — outside the fenced bark park dogs must be leashed, and the swim beach is lifeguarded human-use only (water-quality advisories have closed it in recent summers).
A $5/vehicle gate fee to enter Eagle Creek Park is separate from the Pooch Pass; winter shuts off on-site water.
