Broad Ripple Bark Park
Indianapolis's first dog park, opened in 1999 along the White River in Broad Ripple Park. A 2019 renovation added artificial turf, a hexagonal shelter, a new drinking fountain, a dog-wash station, benches and agility equipment.
Requires an Indy Parks Pooch Pass: $75/yr first dog (drops to $55 after June 1, $40 after Sept 1), 50% off the 2nd–3rd dog, or $5/dog daily; a $125 VIP annual pass (sold only here) covers all four bark parks.
Bring current Rabies, Parvo, Distemper and Bordetella records to a park office to buy the pass; you get a dog tag plus a gate-access card.
Sits next to the White River but there’s no dog-swim access; in winter the turf stays usable but the fountain/wash station are shut off when freezing.
