Good to know
- Off-leash everywhere EXCEPT the 12-acre habitat closure in northwest Fort Funston — stay out of the fenced/signed Bank Swallow Protection Area.
- Dogs must be under voice and sight control and recall immediately; unmanaged dogs are prohibited (1979 GGNRA Pet Policy).
- 200-ft bluffs and dangerous surf — NPS warns: if your dog gets stuck on the bluffs, do not climb after it.
