Norman Community Dog Park at Griffin Park
A roughly two-acre fully fenced off-leash park on the north end of Griffin Community Park, with separate large- and small-dog sides, trees, benches, water spouts and stainless bowls. Supported by Norman Parks & Rec.
Dogs must be leashed entering and exiting the gates; no swim water — just drinking-water spouts.
Entrance is near the 12th Ave NE / Highland Meadows stoplight; the park has periodically closed for entrance construction.
Oklahoma heat: shade comes only from scattered trees and there’s no pond, so bring water and avoid midday; the open field catches strong central-Oklahoma wind.
