Dog Park at Scissortail Park
A half-acre fully fenced off-leash dog park in the SW corner of downtown's Scissortail Park, just south of Scissortail Lake, with separate large- and small-dog sides, dog water fountains and large boulders to climb.
Off-leash only inside the fenced dog park; dogs must be leashed elsewhere in the park, and swimming in Scissortail Lake is prohibited.
Drinking fountains for dogs on site — no swim water.
Oklahoma heat: a small, fairly exposed downtown lot with limited shade — best at the early or late ends of 6 AM–11 PM; downtown funnels strong wind.
