Fenced dog park · Historic Third Ward · 103 W Clybourn Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53203
Downtown Milwaukee Dog Park
Downtown's first off-leash dog park: a 23,000-square-foot fully fenced space partially sheltered under I-794 along the west bank of the Milwaukee River, with separated large- and small-dog areas, pet turf and water stations.
Off-leash all day · 6 AM–10 PM (county Dog Park Pass)
Surface
Grass / dirt
Parking & access
Downtown street and garage parking.
Good to know
Run by a downtown/Third Ward BID nonprofit partnership, but uses the Milwaukee County Dog Park Pass ($36 resident / $40 non-resident annual, or $6/day).
Opens an hour later than the county parks (6 AM vs 5 AM); artificial pet turf, not grass, and no in-park river swimming despite the riverside location.
Partly covered by the freeway, so it offers some shelter — but downtown still gets full Midwest winter cold and ice.
