Spokane County's first off-leash dog park (est. 2006), a fully fenced ~3-acre run inside the 50-acre Gateway Regional Park overlooking the Spokane River near the Idaho line, with double-gated entry, a grassy play area, wooded trails and a paved accessible loop.
Fully fenced with double-gated entry and a 6-ft perimeter (managed by Spokane County with SCRAPS and volunteers); max 3 dogs per handler, pinch/choke collars off.
The park has 2,000+ ft of Spokane River shoreline, but the fenced dog park’s only official water is a drinking fountain (off in winter) — no designated river dog-swim.
Open dawn to dusk; hot dry summers and cold snowy winters — the dog fountain is shut off in the cold months.
