Good to know
Off-leash is ONLY on the designated Freedom Trail — dogs must be leashed in Memory Grove Park itself and elsewhere in City Creek Canyon.
Dogs are not allowed past the water-treatment building (~3 miles up) in upper City Creek Canyon — protected watershed.
The creek is seasonal and cold; fun for a splash, but flows run high in spring runoff.
