Miami-Dade's only official off-leash ocean dog beach — a designated stretch between lifeguard towers #2 and #3, directly across from the Bark Park and reached via parking lots #3 and #4. Dogs swim and run off-leash here under owner control.
Off-leash ONLY between towers #2 and #3 and only 8 AM–4 PM; leashed everywhere else in the park. Two dogs per person; no puppies under 6 months.
Open-ocean swimming with waves and tide — strong swimmers only; rinse salt and sand off afterward, and bring fresh water (the county rule literally says “remember to hydrate your dog”).
Florida sand and pavement get blistering hot midday — test with your hand and favor the early window.
