Buffalo's first and largest official off-leash dog run (opened 2007), with separate small- and large-dog enclosures and skyline/waterfront views. The original Barkyard is closed for the park's $110M+ transformation, but the Conservancy runs a temporary fenced dog park on the 4th Street side.

Good to know
The permanent Barkyard is closed for Phase II construction (expected to reopen ~2027–2028); use the temporary 4th Street run, and confirm status before visiting.
