Piedmont Park Dog Park
Atlanta's flagship off-leash dog park — roughly three fenced acres under the Park Drive bridge with separate large- and small-dog runs, shade, benches and dog water spigots. Operated by the Piedmont Park Conservancy; weekend King of Pops dog popsicles are a local ritual.
Two separate fenced areas split by size (30 lb cutoff); double-gated entries you must close and latch.
Max three dogs per owner; no puppies under 16 weeks, no dogs in heat, no prong collars (city ordinance Sec. 110-70).
Georgia summers are hot and humid — the spigots and shade help, but go early or late and bring extra water.
