Barker Field Dog Park (Byrd Park)
Richmond's largest and best-known off-leash park, a roughly 5-acre fenced field in the southeast corner of Byrd Park near the Carillon, with separate small- and large-dog sections. Managed by Friends of Barker Field with the city.

Good to know
Open sunrise to sunset only (it sits inside Byrd Park, which closes at dusk) — there are no lights.
Mostly open turf with limited shade; in Richmond's humid 90°F+ summers come at dawn or dusk and bring your own water.
The official rva.gov address is 600 S Boulevard (Byrd Park), but the dog-park gate is on Blanton Ave.
