One of the largest off-leash dog parks in the United States: an unfenced bay-front shoreline where dogs run free under voice control and swim in San Francisco Bay. The on-site Mudpuppy's Tub & Scrub dog wash and Sit & Stay Café make it the East Bay's flagship dog destination.

Parking & access

Good to know
Entirely unfenced and bay-adjacent — dogs must be under voice control and within sight at all times; leash up (6-ft max) in lots and on streets.
Dogs swim in the Bay, Hoffman Channel and Hoffman Bay at HIGH TIDE; check the tide and rinse off the salt/mud at Mudpuppy's on the way out.
Walking more than 3 dogs or commercial dog-walking requires an EBRPD permit.
