Kansas City's first off-leash dog park, opened in 2004 in midtown's Penn Valley Park. Fully fenced with double-gated entries and a separate small-dog section, plus water fountains and a bottle-fill spigot.
Max 4 dogs per adult handler; dogs must stay under voice control and never be left unattended.
Prong, choke and spike collars must be removed inside; no puppies under 4 months.
Open shade is limited — mind summer heat; gravel/dirt can get muddy after Midwest rain or snow.
