Cherry Creek State Park Dog Off-Leash Area
Over 100 acres of open off-leash space in the 12 Mile area, with Cherry Creek running through it for dogs to splash. A Colorado state park, so a vehicle pass plus a dog off-leash pass are required.
NOT free: a daily vehicle pass (~$10–$17) PLUS a dog off-leash pass ($3/day or $25/year) and a $1 Water Basin Authority fee.
NOT completely fenced — there is no fence along the creek that runs through the area, so mind the water and the boundary.
Three dogs per handler max. ~5,550 ft altitude; bring water and watch for heat.
